Gupteshwor Cave is one of the longest and most sacred caves in South Asia, stretching over 3 km through the limestone bedrock beneath Pokhara. The cave houses a highly revered natural Shivalinga (Shiva shrine) deep within its chambers, drawing Hindu pilgrims from across Nepal and India throughout the year.
Beyond its spiritual significance, the cave features magnificent stalactite and stalagmite formations built up over millennia. At the far end of the cave system, visitors emerge to an underground window overlooking the roaring cascade of Davis Falls — a truly unforgettable natural spectacle.
